Ocean City, MD to Washington, DC

Hurricane Irene foiled our attempts at the first leg of our trip across the loneliest road in America:  Route 50.  We have done this leg several times on the motorcycle and in the car but wanted to get an official picture of us on the motorcycle in front of the sign that says "San Francisco 3073 miles".  Oh well, we'll do that another day.  Next weekend we will take off from Washington, DC and hopefully arrive in San Francisco 2 weeks later.  Stay tuned!!
